At this instant I have thoughts filling my head concerning life issues, but I just cannot put them into words. When a sentence has just begun with letters, the backspace key is tapped...and booom there goes the blank again.

I have just read the last July issue of Readers’ Digest about a lady who lost both her legs in a suicide bomb attack in London. About how strong she hanged on to life at the instant when everything went dark until she started her ‘life 2’ she called it. There were 2 voices in her head when the incident happened, one asking her to just let go, the other asked her to stay and hang on. It was the latter that she listened to, which made her today. You see, it is not the completed puzzle that we are talking about; it is how we fix the small pieces together as one.

I cannot make myself any fuller. The love given and the love taken, there is no use to measure them. How can one makes one feels more appreciated?

Bonjour all,

When was the last time you hear from me? Gomennasai :/

For the past two months, I was packed with all normal everyday happenings, classes in Uni, music lessons, teaching classes, sports and performances. Do you think those are the only things I do? Of course not, I spent time to build my personality too :P

Foundation Studies are over now and Bachelor of Science/Biotechnology is my next step. Results for Foundation Studies was not I aimed for, so I have to work harder now (meaning to say you will seldom see me here, again..) oppssyyy, this is just the first week, so we are still relaxing (so I am still here).

During the one month holiday break, I decided to do a collection. Let's play some guessing games here. Guess what type of collections I do?

Happy - Learnt major happenings in life. Found many new things and new ways to deal with things.

Sad - I kept two dwarf hamsters, but one lived for less than two weeks, the other slightly longer than a month. May Hamsterin and Oxnard rest in peace. I will never try to keep pets anymore, pity them, huhu.

Excited - Books and lab activities awaiting ahead of me in this course. We actually have our very own lab coat, wuhooo, I sound childish, lolx! And and and TI-83+!!!

Hopes and Wishes - I joined Ballroom dance lessons. For...fun! It is FUN!!! Hope I can be a better dancer. Better girl better person, grow musically and emotionally too.

Creativity - Tried ways to beautify my own room :) It turned out quite impressive, to me though. But, of course, I only need to please myself, coz it's my room, hooray.

Look - Lost a little bit of weight, hoping to get healthier physically as well as mentally. Wanna see me?

I do not know what to write

I I I...feel new and a lil strange to blogging after a complete no-updates for two weeks. I did not update, and did not pay visits to friends' blogs too. I don't even know what to put as my title :(

How exactly to write a post? I have no idea what I should write on. Maybe I should just blabber abit about my life now.

The usual everyday routine for me is to wake up around 6-7am, eat my supplements, sometimes I head off to the gym, sometimes when I have early classes, I got myself ready then Swinburne here I come. Then, there I will be for the whole day, until the least is 7pm, or if I have night class, I only reach home around 9pm. That's also for Thursday only, I don't even have a lunch break for my meal, because when I am supposed to be having my lunch, I am to attend viola lessons. Do not pity me, hehe, I feel great being able to attend music lessons, lalala. During weekends, I have orchestra practices and some teachings AND piano lessons. WEeeeeeeee...!!!

For the past two weeks, we foundation students were all busy with our report-writing and speech-giving assignments. Today, we had just had our Engineering Maths small test. But, it was quite a 'scary' test. This coming week onwards, we will be busy with another group report and more exams.

Two weeks ago, there was a Blood Donation Campaign held in Swinburne, I was there, but but...I did not get the chance to donate my precious O blood, felt disappointed with myself. Then, from that day onwards, I do not know why, I feel like I am the one who need blood from other people.Not only that, I am to eat Alpha Lipid-Lifeline (milk-powdered drink). But it tastes nice lah, no complain, for my health at this price my mummy pays, I should appreciate. For more info about this product, please kindly click HERE BUT BUT, can I complain about something?? WHy mosquitoes always bite me?? And why pimples keep popping on my face?? grrrr...

Our friends who went for Matriculation sometime same time when I entered Swinburne, have come back. They are cool with their life now. Going to meet them one by one when I have time, so, there will be posts about our activities, more new posts lahh I promise Palia!! ish...teeheeeheee.. TOMORROW, we are going to a Rock Concert, hope it will be fun sans vous :)

Current feelings :

Sometimes triste sometimes heureux, but most of the time heureux 'coz I learned to appreciate every little things I own. At times when I'm triste, (ee, just remembered I played a song called Triste Cour by Richard Clayderman before, now I know what the term means), mostly there will be cure for me, c'est vous qui me rendent triste &

On April fool's day, we had night class.

~ A story of Life ~

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room.

One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs.

His bed was next to the room's only window.

The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.
The men talked for hours on end.

They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.

Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.

The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake.

Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats.Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite details, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine this picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon, the man by the window described a parade passing by.

Although the other man could not hear the band - he could see it in his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days, weeks and months passed.

One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep.

She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside.
He strained to slowly turn to look out the window besides the bed.

It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window.

The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.

She said, 'Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.'

Epilogue:

There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.

Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.

If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't buy.

For the past two days, I slept so early and woke up very early too. I felt hardworking, with parents away from home, I can feel I've grown up to handle the responsibilities of taking care of everything, well, not everything, most of the things. Yeap! Handle cash too? Erm, don't really know how to deal with them, once I've got cash with me, they will be spent, on something I fancy, I never save them, haha.. Money money bling bling..

Whoah, this morning, I woke up with the sun smiling to greet me, just a minute before this, when I looked out to the window, everything's dark. Windy and raining, the feeling? Don't know, I love to look at the rain, but I don't like the sound of the rain landing and making crackling noises on top of me. Sometimes when it rains in the middle of the night, when I'm already fast asleep, it wakes me! I have terrible fright over the sound. Sad isn't it?

I want to be able to plan things ahead for this year. I must sit for both Diplomas for my music courses and also an external exam for viola. Save money for tour to Europe. I have to make sure my studies in Swinny, my exams and the tour do not clash. Really hard to do so. Everything seems to happen around the same season. Ughhh..

Am quitting Saturday morning's classes, at last, but I suddenly feel like missing them after I quit. The pictures are blur, very blur but their actions were so cute, total cuteness!!! Because they arrived earlier than the others, I asked them to pose like men, buddies, hands over shoulders, they were like, too shy or whatever, soooo cute!! Hmmm..I know I'm crazy over here..

I woke up super early today..

At last I go out out away from the house..
After long I've been staying and sleeping in the house, my room particularly, at last..wuhooo...

Fell down, and unable to climb up by myself. Walked in to the lecture hall to find myself failed to control the situation again. I hope I can be the angel to the evil. Storybook and music kept me focused on myself.

In the depth of winter, I finally learned that there was within me an invinsible summer.

Locked upon my heart and body, I am all by myself, and that's what I love to do.

They say year 2009 is a very good year especially to 19 year old metal 'horses'. I don't feel so, the start of the year is already a bad one for me. What more to say another 365 days of year 2009?

BE PATIENT

This is a true story which happened in the States. A man came out of his home to admire his new truck. To his puzzlement, his three-year-old son was happily hammering dents into the shiny paint of the truck. The man ran to his son, knocked him away, hammered the little boy's hands into pulp as punishment. When the father calmed down, he rushed his son to the hospital. Although the doctor tried desperately to save the crushed bones, he finally had to amputate the fingers from both the boy's hands. When the boy woke up from the surgery & saw his bandaged stubs, he innocently said, " Daddy,I'm sorry about your truck." Then he asked, "but when are my fingers going to grow back?" The father went home & committed suicide. Think about this story the next time someone steps on your feet or u wish to take revenge. Think first before u lose your patience with someone u love. Trucks can be repaired.. Broken bones & hurt feelings often can't. Too often we fail to recognize the difference between the person and the performance. We forget that forgiveness is greater than revenge. People make mistakes. We are allowed to make mistakes. But the actions we take while in a rage will haunt us forever.

Before exams, we ( referring to swinny gang ) always hang out together at my dried sons' house, erm, isnt that my house too? okie, I bought the house for him, so now it's HIS house..that's it, dn be confused.

What do we usually do there?

In the previous previous previous post, I mentioned that the first time I played 'Fei Ji Qi', yeah, we usually play games over there. That is also the place where I learnt to play cards, all kinds of cards games, it is fun tho=) Yesterday we played Indian poker? something like that, punishment is that we have to drink h2o!! omg, damn bloated...Yesterday my luck was not bad wo, hahah..can win lotsa money, but that's just play play, not real money, I'm still an angel, not that bad, just a bit polluted hehe

Yesterday, right after we finished the Moral paper, we went to his house again, we got to fry mushroom as LUNCH, lolx! It was actually sis idea, so, she was supposed to fry it, but at last, daddy has to do it himself, pity pity...We have class in the afternoon, but skipped it to relief tension, hehehe...I am a bad girl, after I came to swinny...haih!!

Sis has lotsa problems, I hope she can solve it soon, go over her self unsurity, be more confident.

One, I will not regret..but so happy I really did it..

~A busy/happy Friday~

It's unusual and lucky that we, Sarawakian are able to attend this concert by the Malaysian Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. It was cool!! I hope I can bow like them and enjoy playing in an orchestra. Although I am very sleepy today, I didn't sleep in the concert hall, thank God..lolx! I want to be like them, travel internationally for performance, I want, I want, and....I  W A N T !!!

Smiles cover my face today, with many reasons. First of all, my bestie is back, and she [Jess] went to this orchestra with me and another friend [Josh]. p/s:Thanks for accompanying me to this concert. They are both bloggers and musicians. =) I want to 'make' trees with them, ahah..

Then then then, I saw my friend, she's going back to KK soon, will miss her.

And and and, maybe it's because I didn't _ _ _ somebody today, wahaha..

Monday and Tuesday will be our mid-term examination. I haven't started revising my notes. Actually, I didn't even know what is it all about my subjects for the exam. :'(

I want my phone to be as healthy as before. So sad....

Hello! It's been a very long time I didn't spend my time working out a 'real' post...Now that I'm free, I hope to carve smiles on your busy life. After you view all these food photos I've taken, I bet your tummy will go rum rum rum, and saliva will start flowing out from the edge of your mouth. =P

This is called the chinese herb soup. It is cooked with bitter gourd and piggy meat=)

The red red small tingy is my favourite, don't know what is it called.

Barley is a whole-grain food. Many consume it as it is low in fat, high in fibre, can reduce blood cholesterol and also reduce blood glucose levels. I consume it because it is yummy:P

This is famous type of cooking for Malaysian people. Mee is deep fried and then dipped in with the sauce cooked with various ingredients.

Vermicelli, Singapore style.

Arrr, my brother loves to eat salted fish fried rice. eww, I don't eat salted fish, or you can say I seldom eat fish, hehehe...

This is truly yuckkeeee, black sesame what what what is it called, looks nice, but tastes eww.

Vietnamese's beef noodle soup, wulala..looks ugly, but it tastes...super duper yummoo!!

Thai whatever rice, my brother ate this, not nice one lah...

Korean food is still way more edible than Japanese food, to me... hehe

The traditional 板麵 is easy to cook, I know how, yay, haha.

I noticed that all of us ordered International food except for my mum, still cling on to Malaysian cuisine, lolx!! 板麵!

Five Spiced Pork Cube Noodle Soup, wow, the name of this dish is so long, it costs expensive too, RM12++ but tastes yuckee..

Notice that most cuisines are soups type? 'Coz my mum and I got sick during the trip, pity pity...

A date to remember..

Many interesting things happened today..Before I resume those things, I first would like to share where have I been to during the last weekend.

Agriculture festival, in short is called Agrofest. A seminar was held last weekend in conjunction with this year's State Farmers' Day in Kuching. It focuses on the livestock sector and its business potential. An overview on the development and potential of the state’s livestock sector is conducted during the festival.

I went there (State Stadium) on Saturday. It was quite a good experience as I got to learn something about my field of studies and my own country's agriculture products.

Woke up, got ready and played piano while waiting for my friend to pick me up for breakfast. We promised 8.30am, so, by the time, I was outside in my garden, with my three tortoises. My friend actually came just before 10am, omg! They played basketball in campus and left me waiting alone, buhuhu..BUT, I want to thank them for doing that, neither did it train my patience, now only I know what are the plants my mum has in her garden. Haha!! I never stay out in the garden for more than 10 minutes to enjoy nature. Today......these are the lovely flowers....

At last, breakfast is served, extra large ok? But still, I didn't lose to someone, wahaha..We visited few places before landing and started doing our revision. Actually, it was MY revision, 'coz, they were either playing games or watching movies.

Sleepy Sleepy Sleepy, few times I almost knocked out while sitting there with books ahead of me, alast, thanks to paracetamol, I napped for around 20min. In between that time, my friends actually bought and cooked snails in the kitchen. Ok, it was disgusting lah, dry daddy and singsing. Ewww..

Time to relax, but dry daddy's finger got twisted while getting too HIGH playing with dry grandson, pity2. However, I got to play 'fei ji qi', my first time playing and I beat a pro, wahahahaha, yayyyy!!!

The game we played, it looks something like this but not exactly.

Another irritating incidence is this..They ate durian in front of me, durian is a fruit that has a nickname of 'King of Fruits' in Malaysian community. It has a very strong smell that can kill your nose. I once love to eat it, but now, I have phobia against it. Whoahhh..

This, is DURIAN!!

My first time eating at Da Lai in King's Centre, the meal was Salad Chicken Rice. Funny funny as the place is so near me and yet I have never been there before.

Her life now

People say music is their passion, music is their lives. To her, it is music that helps her to express her feelings, and the quote by Victor Hugo is the best reason to her love in music. She started dancing her little fingers on the keyboard of piano since the age of 6, and now, she’s currently pursuing Classical piano playing in Diploma level, at a music school called International Music House, IMH. In the same school, she takes up viola lessons with a Russian teacher who is very kind and always give advice and encourages her to pursue her interest in music playing while doing her studies. Guitar is her third instrument, but, to tell the truth, she is very impatient in learning guitar, that is why she’s going no where with it. She’s doing another course which is Diploma in Music teaching under Thames Valley University and IMH. Her course in Swinburne is Foundation in Engineering and Science, and will be pursuing her degree in Biotechnology. She loves to perform in an orchestra, that is why she joins the Sarawak Symphonic Orchestra, and goes for practices every week. Imagine how busy is her life, that’s what she likes.

Her Secrets

She is quite a shy person to strangers, but when she gets to know someone for a longer time, she can be too close to him or her. She will run out of the loo if there’s a cockroach she spot at the corner, even if she’s naked. That happens when no one is around the house, or else she will just scream until the whole neighborhood gets to hear it.

Her greatest phobia of all is to imagine too much about something. For example, when she walks alone in a dark, empty, huge place, she will start to imagine things, like those in the movies. Maybe it is because she watched too much of those horror movies. You can say she is timid, because she is afraid of anything that moves. Is this weird?

Ok, I felt terrible, not worried or scared type of terrible, but feeling, I felt like vomiting and fainting when I was in the lift. I understand now why am I feeling sicker than my other friends. Shh, secret here. hehehe, it's not like what Dry daddy said in his post, lolx!!

I just had a Quiz for IT subject. It's my habit to not to remember my password for an account, problem came to me!!! Woahh, I was damn nervous. We had to send in our work within the given time, via E-MAIL, taddaaaa...I guess you all know what happened to me...sobssssss~~

Hhmmm...if I were to join the upcoming performance, can I cope with it? Finals' are just at the tip of my nose. Heeelllllpppp........~~

The fact: Guys want to know what girls want, while girls want to know what guys want.

Let’s imagine this: You’re a girl at a party and are talking to a guy who is very good looking and, even though you don’t really know him yet, you’re interested in him. You flirt, but he acts uninterested. You ask him out for a drink, but he flat out rejects you. That’s not the end yet, you find out where he works or lives, and turn up there the next day with flowers. He asks you to leave him alone. Again, you ignore him. You start sending him expensive gifts, which he returns. You turn up at a social situation and declare that you love him, and that you are perfect for each other and he should stop denying his feelings, you’re not going to give up until he admits he loves you.

Now, imagine the same situation, but, you’re a guy at a party and are talking to a girl who is very beautiful, continues on……

Which situation is more logic in your sense?

Why it is that ‘he’ must be the one to pursue ‘her’; ‘he’ must ask ‘her’ out; ‘he’ must be the one to call ‘her’?

Guy pursues girl, girl accepts, and finally they live happily ever after. Very cute, and how romantic of the guy to have such determined heart to get the girl. Now, imagine if it happened to you. You’re the girl, you’d probably got irritated by this weirdo disturbing and keeps on stalking you. At most, you’ll be terrified, scared to answer his call, or avoid him when he walks near you. Stalking is a punishable crime. So why is it seen as OK, as good, even when guys use these methods to stalk girls? And the girls find this attractive?

What are other requirements from a girl? A girl wants a guy. A wealthy guy, a successful guy, a famous guy, an interesting guy, a macho, a talented guy, a loving guy, a guy she loves, a father for her children, a friend, a sex-machine and a guy that is above her head in everything she does. These details may differ, but the main point stays the same. SHE WANTS A GUY. Some girls want just money or a career, but if she denies her compliance to meet a real guy, she lies. He needs to have good manners, a well-paid job and a good car and is able to remember her family members’ birth date. A girl of 50 wants just that guy, who remembers her name, shaves during the weekends and behaves himself in the public. A girl in her 60s wants her man to not to disturb her too often. What does a girl of 70 wants? Well, some ‘girls’ do live that long, what about ‘him’? Are you sure he’s still breathing? If yes, he is the real treasure for the tired ‘her’.

So, we are clear with what girls want from guys. Now, let’s see what guys want from girls. First of all, a guy likes to love and likes being loved in return. They try to seek for their Miss Right no matter how many girls they ‘try’. Attractive girls are their targets, but, do not be so shallow girls. Guys do not want a girl who weighs 80lbs, they do want a girl who takes pride in their appearance.

Girls, guys are looking for a trustworthy girl, someone who they can have faith in and someone who will be there for them. They can never forgive a girl being unfaithful. Be feminine, be gentle, and be kind. Because deep down in guys’ hearts, these qualities make a girl attractive.

Guys also like girls who have high sense of humor. She must be able to fit in with his friends, be sociable and fun to be with. Such girls are extremely attractive to guys. When he wants to relax, she must be able to do so with him.

She must also be supportive. Many girls often criticize guys on their behavior, career and try to mould them into something they wish the guys would be. This is a crucial mistake. The best relationship works both ways in terms of support. Where a girl is not able to give that support and is always criticizing, she may lose her man.

Another must-know-fact about guys is that they do not like angry girls who shout. They want girls who can debate and are able to discuss. Communication is king. They love challenging girls too. That was my first time playing in the rain, and it's on the beach, I was wild enough..

It has been years since I visited a beach, I miss Bintulu...
